Tax Board Will County Dems   Employment Security  Will County Clerk     Education Health Dept     Treasurer       Comptroller                     Democratic Elected Officials In the Congress   US Senator Dick Durbin   Local Elected Democratic Officials Bolingbrook DuPage Township Collector Shirley Valevicius  The first woman and the first Democrat on record elected to that position in DuPage Township.  Elected in 2009 to a four-year term.  Shirley cares about keeping taxes & costs in line, and cares deeply about this country, the people and the environment.   As Collector she oversees the Alexander and Boardman cemeteries.  Shirley attends various community and civic meetings, as well as serving as a member of the Bolingbrook Art Council, Theatre-on-the-Hill, DAR, and the Democratic Party.  She is a Lewis University Alumnae and former Alumni Board member.  She remains active in the community and township and speaks out on many issues, including citizens' and environmental concerns.
